Please explain your character's personality in 200 words or more:
When people see Moeka, they are instantly reminded of a doll, with her smooth porcelain skin, soft hair, and unique eyes. However, once she opens her mouth, their opinions change quite quickly. While she gets along civilly with adults, despite a belief that they have ulterior motive, she acts very differently with her peers. She has an incredibly short temper and tends to interpret most remarks as being aggressive. She is a defensive girl with high self-esteem which can easily be bruised.
Outside of fencing, Moe is a very lazy girl. She practices her fencing endlessly, loving the thrill of a bout and an unexpected opponent. It is her way of releasing her built-up frustrations. Otherwise, she can't be bothered to do much, preferring to sleep rather than to be potentially forced to interact with others. Although she avoids people, she secretly wants friends but has a hard time opening up and trusting others. She speaks without thinking, saying the first thing that comes to mind without much, or any, forethought.
What does you character think of the Etoile position as a whole? So, the Etoile thing is just a silly popularity contest? That's ridiculous. The entire concept of an Etoile is useless. It's an excuse for some students to think that they're better than others.
Does your character want to be an Etoile someday? You're kidding, right? That's just a silly question. Of course not.
What does your character think of Shizuka and Chokone, the current Etoiles?
Cho: She doesn't particularly like Cho, seeing her as a weak girl who needs to rely on someone else rather than standing on her own. Other than that, she thinks Cho is rather forgettable and not someone she would recognize on the street or around campus.[/font][/ul]What does your character think of the other schools?
Who cares what school they're in as long as they don't make fun of her?
~History~
History before Astraea Hill:
She is a wealthy young girl from a wealthy young family. Her parents are both doctors, and yet somehow the biologies of their children astound them. Moe and her younger brother (Takeshi) went from private school to private school, frequently transferring due to bullying. Their classmates found them creepy for their unnatural-looking eyes. Their parents, oddly, have blue eyes, but both Moe and her brother share the same unique quality.
While children bullied them, adults fawned over them. Moeka developed fairly good relations with adults. Well, better than she did with children her own age, at least. She thinks of them all as condescending and superficial, but at least she can maintain civil conversation.
Wanting to defend herself and her brother, Moe insisted on learning some form of self-defense. However, her parents thought that none of them was suitable for a proper young lady and thus turned down all of her suggestions. Finally, they came to an agreement on fencing, which Moe thought would be an interesting way to vent her frustration and which her parents thought would be an elegant and refined sport that would get her to stop bothering them. Moe threw herself into fencing and became rather good. While she continued transferring from school to school, she stuck with fencing longer than anyone anticipated she would.
Now, she is transferring to St. Spica, after having heard that their sports programs (including their fencing program) were highly ranked. Her parents hoped that being surrounded by delicate young women would cause her to change her inelegant, lazy ways.
Second Year: N/A
Third Year:
Moeka had an eventful arrival at school. She made what might possibly be her first and only friend, Mel, despite Moe's best efforts to not befriend the other girl. Mel's cheerfulness was easy to ignore and Moeka quickly opened up. Soon after, she made herself a handful of enemies when she fell into the fountain and was surrounded by a group of strange girls. Two of them, a blonde and a pink-haired girl, seemed nice enough. In particularly, Moe quickly developed a strong dislike for the small, dark-haired Asami who ran for Etoile. This only furthered her mistaken conceptions of the purpose of the Etoile position.
Fourth Year: Overall, Moeka's school life has been fairly anticlimactic. She has started meeting new people and making new friends, most notably one Kendall Kohma of Miator. She and Kendall met last year, but this was their first time meeting again since then, and their friendship quickly blossomed. Bothered by a phone call with her brother in which she realized that he was growing up and experiencing things - like romance - that she couldn't understand, she and Kendall decided to observe Astraea students during the Valentine's Day event. Putting their 'research' on romance to practice, the two went on a 'date' and pretended to be a couple. Maybe Moe enjoyed it a little more than she thought she would....
Fifth Year: After spending more time with Kendall, Moe has become even more confused about her feelings. The earthquake at Miator convinced her parents to take her home for the majority of the year, where they could make sure that she was safe both physically and mentally. But she spent her vacation from school wishing that she could see her friend and wondering if friendship was all there was to her feelings and their relationship.

WORD COUNT : 268"It wasn't my fault!" she yelled. Her parents seemed unaffected by the outburst. They were used to it. Why hadn't their daughter been like the perfect, sweet little girl they had always hoped for? What had happened? And she looked so cute, too.
Moe looked at her younger brother, who had been silent during this entire conversation. Split them up!? What were her parents thinking? They had dreams of their son becoming a doctor, like them, and thus they were sending him to private school renowned for its science program - only Moe knew his secret dreams of being a musician. How could she defend him if he was off in some other school?
Not only that, but they were sending her away as well? "It's what we think will be best for both of you." Admittedly, Moe had gotten herself kicked out of yet another school due to picking fights. But that was no cause to separate them. "I'm not going to some stupid girl's school." she crossed her arms over her chest and glared at her parents. It was, she had learned over time, an effective technique. No one liked a pair of shining multi-colored eyes glaring at them. It was eerie.
"You're going," her mother said, not missing a beat.
"Tch," the sound hissed through her clenched teeth. But then, a moment later, a smile lit her face. "Fine, I'll go," she agreed. Her parents stared in wide-eyed surprise. She would agree to go, but that didn't mean she had to stay there. She wondered how long until this school kicked her out as well.
