"Hibari....I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that." she whispered as she heard the girl come out of the bathroom. Walking over to the bed, she knelt down and rested her head on the edge. "Please forgive me Hibari. I shouldn't have caused pain to you like that." Gently gripping her hair, she shook her head feeling like a complete moron. "I'll go ask for a room transfer so you won't have to bother with me. I'm sorry I hurt you Hibari."

Not knowing what to say to the girl she just shook her head "dont. its fine" she whispered after a few moments of internal arguments with herself. "It only stung a little anyway. nothing bad. so dont worry ok? Why dont you go grab you some breakfast hmmm? Im not really hungry so ill just rest for a little longer."

"No...I'm gonna stay here with you." she whispered as she stayed by the bed. Looking up, she reached out to touch the girls shoulder before pulling her hand back. "I'm still really sorry." Standing up, she grabbed her blanket off her bed and threw it over the girl to keep her warm. "I think..i have an ice pack in my stuff.." Grabbing her bag from beneath her bed, she opened a box that lay inside. "Ah ha!"

Pulling a bag out of the box, she squeezed it until something pop within, but the outer layer didn't open. Shaking the contents of the bag, she started to toss it from hand to hand. "Cold...cold.." Looking at the girl she whispered quietly. "Can I put this ice pack on your ankle to take the swelling down?"

Hibari just nodded quietly, her innocent yet cold exterior rearing its ugly head. she was generally a sweet girl, until someone attempted to get close to her. then she built up a nearly impenetrable wall and hid within it pushing them away before the same happened to her.

Moriko gently unwrapped part of the bandaging and placed the icepack around her ankle and retied it to keep it in place. "Just..rest ok? I'm gonna go for a bit..since its obvious you don't want me here. I'll...I'll be back later." she whispered before kissing the girl on top of the head and walking to the door. stopping, she looked down, bangs shadowing her eyes. "I'll be back at lunch to check on you." she whispered before walking out the door, shutting it lightly behind her. Moriko felt like crying right then and there in the hallway as she leaned her back against the door. Biting her lip hard, she forced the tears back and headed outside to calm herself down by the pond.

Hibari was sleeping deeply when Moriko returned. Her face looked peaceful while she slept as if the argument between them had never happened. It was obvious that she had not moved the whole day. Her crutches were in the same exact spot they had been in earlier and she was still in her pajamas. She gave a soft sniffle, the only hint, besides a wet pillow, that she had been crying before she had fallen asleep, the rest easing her troubled mind.

Moriko sighed as she closed the door quietly behind her and set the tray of food on the dresser top. Going over to the bed, she gently ran her fingers through the girls hair and sighed once more. Kneeling by the bed, she rested her head on her arms and watched the girl sleep. Her eyes were slowly drifting shut as she stared at the other girl, her bi colored eyes. "I'm sorry Hibari..." she whispered as she fell into a very light sleep.

A little while later Hibari's eyes fluttered open as she took in the sight before her. Moriko was there, leaning against her bed asleep... looking miserable. With a soft sigh she gently caressed her cheek before pulling back 'no...' she thought with a sigh 'its not worth it...not if it ends... but...what if it doe- no... itll end. it always does...'

Carefully extracting herself from the bed she grabbed her crutches and headed to the bathroom to bathe and hopefully ease her troubled mind, pausing only momentarily to peer out the window. The sky, like her heart, seemed to be in limbo between calm and storm. "how ironic..." she whispered with a pained scoff before continuing to the bathroom closing and locking the door behind her.

Hearing the click of the door being locked, Moriko jerked awake and searched the room for the missing Hibari. Seeing the bathroom door closed, she realized where the click came from. 'Probably should leave her be for a bit. I am so tired though..' she thought as she tried to get up off the floor only for her legs to give out, a pins an needles feeling going throughout her legs. 'Great...legs are asleep.'

Sighing, she grabbed one of Hibari's pillows and laid her head on it and got her legs in a more comfortable position as she fell back to sleep, but a much deeper one this time. Her hands found their way to the small lion sitting on the bed top and held its little arm in her hand. Long bangs covered her eyes as she slept. Her dreams were sweet and gentle as she dreamed of her walking hand in hand with her pink haired roommate. A soft tear escaped her closed eyes as it faded away with Hibari's hand being ripped from her own, and the girl whisked away by an unseen force. "No...Hibari...please...dont leave me...." she whispered as her dream turned nightmare.

Comming back into the room now clean and in a better mood Hibari sighs softly seeing the state her roomate was in. Gently she ran her fingers through Moriko's hair before putting her crutches down and hoisting the sleeping girl into her bed. Laying skye in her arms she tucks her in and kisses her forehead whispering "It's ok Morichan... it's just a bad dream... don't worry, I'm here" climbing in bed behind her, she held the girl close continuing to whisper soft words of comfort to her in hopes to calm her. Letting her eyes fall closed she continued to comfort the other while fighting off her own sleep. Eventually though once her companion was sleeping more peacfully she allowed herself to fall back into a light sleep, her grip on Moriko tightening.

Moriko slept peacefully her body warm and stretched out from its cramped position. "Hm...Bari-chan.." she whispered as she turned around in the girls arms and tugged her close once more, placing her back to the wall. Between the two of them, Skye sat and peeked his head out between them, looking very comfortable between the two women.

Looking around in the white bliss of her dream, she saw Hibari giving her that cold dead stare before turning and walking away from her. "Hibari..wait..don't go!" she yelled out and tried to chase the girl down. No matter how fast she ran though, the girl kept getting further and further away before disappearing all together. "Please..don't go." she whispered as she collapsed to her knees, panting softly. "I refuse to give up on her..I want that laughter and smile I saw to come back again." she whispered as she got back to her feet and kept running to where Hibari disappeared to.

"mori...mori....come one mori baby wake up" she whispered lightly shaking the fightened girl in her arms. Gently she ran her fingers through Moriko's hair. "Shh sweetie... it's just a bad dream. Please wake up..." whimpering softly she held her companion tighter. She kissed her forehead and sung softly hoping to ease Moriko's mental termoil.

Eyes shooting open in terror, she started panting softly as tears mingled with sweat on her face. Burying her head in her hands, she took in deep breathes trying to calm herself down. Her body shook as kept her eyes closed. "Hibari...I'm sorry.." she whispered as she opened blood shot eyes to look at the pink haired girl. Tears streamed down her face as she looked at her companion, and reached out to touch her cheek and hair. "I'm sorry...you..you were just too fast. I couldn't catch you. I ran and ran and ran until I couldn't breath no more. Everything was going dark but I still couldn't catch you. Why did you run away Bari-chan...why? I didn't mean to scare you, or make you give me that cold look. I really didn't. Why did you run away?"

Her voice and eyes betrayed how sorry and scared she was. "I'm so sorry Bari-chan.." she whispered as she struggled to get out of the bed, her shirt coming half off, showing her tanned body with light silver scars along her sides and biceps. "I...I gotta get outside..I feel trapped...gonna sufficate." she whispered, trying to rip her shirt away. Her mind was in a panic and it was causing her to react.

Not knowing what else to do Hibari pulled Moriko close and pressed her lips firmly against the other girls holding her in her tight embrace. As soon as her lips touched her room mates her heart began to pound. She could feel small electrical shocks flowing through her body causing her belly to do summersaults. Without realizing it tears began to spill from her own eyes as she finally realized what her own selfishness did to the girl before her. "I'm so sorry Mori-chan" she whispered looking into Moriko's eyes. "You caught me Mori. You caught me..."

Body tensing as she felt those soft lips touch her own, her eyes widened as she became completely still. Blinking, she pulled her lips away and looked at the other girl, trying to get her panicked mind to comprehend what had just happened. Looking at the other girl, she tried to speak but couldn't. Shirt nearly completely off her body, shoulders rising and falling quickly with panted breath, and eyes looking a little less frightened, Moriko looked like a mess. "Bari-chan...I'm sorry." she whispered as she looked at her.

Swallowing hard, she heard the bell toll for two o-clock as she looked into the glittering eyes of her partner. Reaching forward she wiped the tears from her cheek. "Please don't cry hime, its ok." she whispered as she finally settled down. "Please don't cry."
